Alisa & Jeremiah Wedding

A cliff-view wedding in Danang is rare — La Maison Terrace at InterContinental Danang Sun Peninsula Resort is one of the few venues offering it. Alisa and Jeremiah chose this coastal setting for their May 2026 celebration: 55 guests, a burgundy-and-sage garden ceremony overlooking the sea, followed by cocktails and a candlelit dinner reception at Pool Garden. The night closed with fireworks timed to their first dance, then continued at M Club. A destination wedding that let the view do most of the talking.

Where Sage Meets Burgundy: Alisa & Jeremiah’s Cliff-View Wedding in Danang

La Maison 1888’s Terrace is one of the rare cliffside settings in Danang, where the garden simply stops and the sea takes over. This was the altar Alisa and Jeremiah chose, framed by wild ginger and a floral arch in deep burgundy and white against a wash of sage green, the ocean stretching flat and endless behind it. Wooden cross-back chairs lined the aisle — the kind of setting that lets a view this dramatic do most of the talking.

Before the ceremony, guests were met with something unexpected: a wall of shot glasses, each one marking a seat, under a sign that read “Take a Shot & Take Your Seat.” Set against the resort’s black-and-white checkered courtyard, it was a small, cheeky detail that told guests exactly what kind of night was ahead — elegant, but never too serious.

An Evening at Pool Garden, Steps from the Sea

From above, the reception looked almost like a compass rose — round tables in a perfect circle, set across Pool Garden, an open-air lawn venue so close to the shoreline it feels like an extension of the beach itself. As dusk settled in, string lights came on overhead, burgundy table runners and candlelight took over, and a soft haze of smoke drifted across the dance floor, catching the last of the evening light. By nightfall, the circular dance floor — stamped with the couple’s monogram — became the center of everything, guests raising their glasses as Alisa and Jeremiah took their first dance. Later, dry ice rolled low across the floor as the two of them dipped into a kiss, fireworks bursting overhead in perfect time.

Danang has no shortage of beautiful venues, but few offer a cliffside ceremony with the sea as a backdrop rather than a suggestion. Alisa and Jeremiah’s wedding is what happens when a couple lets that view lead — everything else, from the florals to the fireworks, simply followed.

Getting Ready & First Look

Afternoon light filled La Maison 1888’s arched windows as burgundy vow cards waited on stone and Jeremiah poured champagne with his groomsmen. Alisa dressed quietly nearby, a bridesmaid fastening the final button. Then came the reveal — a private first look through a set of black doors, both faces breaking into unguarded smiles. Bridesmaids and groomsmen gathered next in warm neutrals, letting the day’s burgundy and sage palette lead, before the couple slipped away for one last quiet portrait, the sea waiting just beyond the terrace.

VOW Ceremony

Alisa’s father walked her down the aisle, delivering her into Jeremiah’s hands beneath an arch of red and white blooms, the sea stretching out behind them. Jeremiah’s father stood as celebrant, his voice steady as he read their vows. Vows exchanged, Alisa threw her bouquet skyward, and the first kiss followed — pure, unguarded joy, with the peninsula’s hills as witness.

The Reception & The Afterparty

Dinner drifted through Pool Garden as dusk settled over the beach, string lights glowing above tables scattered across the lawn. Laughter carried easily between courses, before sparklers and a slice of fruit-laden cake pulled the couple back onto the floor for a dip and a kiss.

As the first dance reached its final bars, fireworks burst across the sky behind Alisa and Jeremiah — no one expecting it, everyone gasping at once. Friends spilled onto the monogrammed dance floor after, glasses raised under the string lights, the sea just beyond the bar’s burgundy skirt.

The night carried on at M Club, violet light washing over the crowd as the DJ took the room past midnight.
